Marketing

The following is a list of marketing materials for My Referral Club and an explanation of how they can be used to promote you and your club.

The number one marketing item available to you is the My Referral Club web site. Do you remember back to when you joined the club? Chances are you were given the My Referral Club web address, you logged on, and decided to get involved. Like you, once others have seen the club and understand how it is organized, they will decide for themselves to get involved.

Tri-Fold Club Brochure
This is our primary marketing piece. It is designed for club members to hand out to prospective members. The intention is to provide Club members with a handout they are proud of--something that speaks quality, excellence, and is consistent with the quality of our website. It can also be used to hand out to people who might want to remember and use the services of Club members by using an insert showing quick access contact information for each of the members.

Brochure Stickon Label: These brochures can be customized by either placing a label on the brochure that shows the name of the club and the web address, or having the member staple his/her business card to it

Brochure Insert:
You can use our template to create a special insert for the brochure to provide a way to promote the Club members. The insert contains the Business Catagory, Business Name, Contact Name and Phone number for each member of the Club. Since the insert needs to be updated as the club grows and changes, the member roster can be automatically downloaded and pasted into a Word document template for running off copies.

View ways to use the brochure The piece is designed for three different types of people, 1) those looking for a professional, 2) professionals that might be interested in joining the Club, 3) people who might know people in either of the first two groups. They are meant to be given out generously and may prove to be one of your greatest marketing tools.

Flyer For Prospective Members -- Use this flyer when you want to get information about the club into a prospective member's hands. We recommend keeping two or three of them in your briefcase. If you are sending an email about the club, you can add the link; www.myreferralclub.com/business, and your friend can immediately see the flyer.

New Members Letter to Invite Others* -- This is sample text you can modify and use to send out if you're a new member. Often times, new members have others that might want to join the Club immediately. We suggest that you send the letter out on your own stationery with a personal touch. *(When you click the link a Word Doc. will be downloaded to your computer for your customization and use.)

Send Prospect An Email -- If you have talked about My Referral Club with someone, here is an easy way to get them to visit the web site. Send this interestingly prepared email to them. It has been designed to increase their curiosity about the club and provides a link back to the web site.

Letter To Specific Business Category* – To be used when looking for a new member in a specific business category. This letter was designed for sending to 10 or more potential club members of a specific business category. Example: Your club needs a Dentist. It's a great way to prospect for new members. *(When you click the link a Word Doc. will be downloaded to your computer for your customization and use.)

Press Release --This is a pre-written press release for local My Referral Clubs. (clicking the link should download a Word document file) It can be adapted by your club to reflect your local membership and then be sent to your local newspaper. If you are one of many clubs in a big city look for neighborhood newspapers. If you are the only club in a small to medium size city, send it to every newspaper you can find. This Press Release should be updated from time to time, and re-released as your club grows past 20 and then 40 members. (When you click the link a Word Doc. will be downloaded to your computer for your customization and use.)

The Business Card Caddy -- A way to keep and carry the business cards of your club members. You should always have several cards of each member available to hand out to people who are interested in a club member's service. This is also a conversation piece for people who don't know about My Referral Club. Remember to store some extra Customer Protection Commitment cards in your card caddy. The Card Caddy can be obtained from a Club Officer for free. Club Officers order this from the Order Supplies page.

The Business Category List -- Without question, the bigger a club's membership, the greater number of referrals a member can expect each month. Make a printout of the Category List and keep it with you so you can ask friends and business associates to help recommend new members to your club. Showing them your Category List is an easy way to get them thinking of people who might want to join My Referral Club. Most people like to help their friends and from this list you can invite potential members to check out your Club.
